It's a tough one, because as others mentioned, sleeping is a lot of fun a lot of the time. Thinking about how much more time you would have though if you never needed to sleep slightly puts me on this side I think... It would take some serious consideration though. Side: Maybe
Without that time used up, you could get so much more done. Also, the feeling when you've just woken up, and you feel groggy and horrible is so bad, so I would probably choose to get rid of it. This is as long as my body could function just fine without it, and I wouldn't feel tired etc. Side: yes

Sleep is a source of pleasure so I would not want to get rid of it. The physical and neurological chemistry provides the body a source of comfort and relaxation. If you have a day off, it feels good to take a nap on a comfy couch or in a park next to a stream. I would not want to give that up so I could "get more done". Life is not all about getting things done... Side: No

No. You wouldn't be able to heal quickly or regenerate that energy and focus for the next day. Also you won't remember things efficiently. Sleeping helps you recover all the data or info you absorbed in your day. Sleep also allows you to drift off into dreams where the brain is free to think and expand its imagination. You brain is working to store everything you did that day. Sleeping is just incredibly essential for health. Side: No
