I don't hate the police and I don't wanna be gunless. I want to weed out the trigger-happy few in police uniforms, weed out the IDIOTS that are allowed under NRA Rules to BUY as many guns as they wish, do MORE than "think and pray" about those unlucky enough to get in the way OF those idiots.

In the UK, when our government looked at the data after the Dunblane Massacre, it showed that handguns were the real problem. Probably because they can be easily concealed from view. In any case, I'm confident the data will say a similar thing in America.

An assault weapon with a firing rate of 500 to 1000 (and more) shots per minute gives a cop in a car with 300HP little chance if he is over a mile away, in traffic or not! Get the firing rate down to where people at least have time to dive for cover and it will REDUCE the "carnage"!

I think the "law-abiding citizens" phrase you guys keep putting on long term repeat is grounded in the fallacy that you can't purchase a gun within the law if you intend to use it maliciously. You in fact can do this, and a great many people who go on to use guns maliciously are "law-abiding citizens" when they initially buy their weaponry.
I have told you many times how the Democrats in New York passed a new gun law called the Safe Act.
Guess what the law called for? It originally made it illegal for any homeowner to have hunting rifles, that held more than seven rounds, in their homes! THESE WERE NOT ASSAULT RIFLES... FOOL LIAR!
