I do not have a fear of flying. I do, however, have a fear of exploding upon impact with the ground in a 500 mph nosedive, but the odds of this are negligible. The risks so far seem to be worth the reward, especially since driving is statistically so much more dangerous than flying, and driving too often takes me through places like New Jersey.
