If you're NAKED in your own house, and someone knocks, can you open the door naked?

I remember hearing a case like this, a man stood in his apartment doorway with the door open while naked, and the police couldn't do anything, because he's allowed to be naked in his own home.

Yes--you can have the window curtains open, etc. etc. as long as you are in your own house. People may still call the police on you (since they are self-righteous and less than admirable), however it is not (to the best of my knowledge) a criminal offense.

You filthy fucking pervert. Do you expect us to believe it is mere coincidence that you are well versed in these laws?

Obviously you have significant experience at whacking one off to your neighbours.

@Conservanazi

It is actually wise to know as many laws of one's own society as possible--as you are bound to them regardless of ignorance or not.

That is actually none of your business. I didn't grab anything because I was rich and famous, I didn't offer to PAY for the "offerings". I guess that's why I'm not President! How about comparing that "Swhine" to Andy and Harvey …. hmmmmmm??????

I should be your kinda guy! (perish the thought!) (LMMFAO) :-)

Under Roman-Dutch law, Sexual Offences Act 2003, it is not an offence for a person to appear naked in public — but it becomes an offence if it can be reasonably shown that the person stripped off with the intention to cause distress, alarm or outrage.

“Generally, in America, nudity is against the law in public places. Moreover, nudity is also generally illegal on a person’s own property if the nude person is visible to the public, such as through an open window or sunbathing nude in someone's yard.“

“in some situations, these laws may conflict with constitutional protections for freedom of expression, particularly if the nudity is part of an artistic performance or political demonstration.”
