You defend criminals who have already been convicted of felony offenses such as rape, violent burglary, rape, assault, terrorism. They are not criminals in need of lawyers or due process.

No. As bad as it is, an attorney's job isn't to believe the client, it's to use the law to help their client. A moral attorney won't try to help a client that is clearly guilty but some may not have a choice, it's their job on the line if they don't do all they can to represent the client.
