CreateDebate is a social debate community built around ideas, discussion and democracy.
If this is your first time checking out a debate, here are some quick tips to help get you started:
Arguments with the highest score are displayed first.
Argument replies (both in favor and in opposition) are displayed below the original argument.
To follow along, you may find it helpful to show and hide the replies displayed below each argument.
To vote for an argument, use these icons:
You have the power to cast exactly one vote (either up or down) for each argument.
Once you vote, the icon will become grayed out and the argument's score will change.
Yes, you can change your vote.
Debate scores, side scores and tag scores are automatically calculated by an algorithm that primarily takes argument scores into account.
All scores are updated in real-time.

When you are ready to voice your opinion, use the Add Argument button to create an argument.
If you would like to address an existing argument, use the Support and Dispute link within that argument to create a new reply.
If there was some guarantee that there wont be any liberals there, then..., yes. Otherwise I may get in trouble for pushing them out an air-lock without their space suit ;)
It will not be a big deal in a few years to come. but being the first to go will be a big deal ofcaurse :)... so i will be glad to go up there if given a chance to be first.
Yes! I would definitely go to the moon if I won a free trip. I think it would be really neat to be able to see outer space with my own eyes instead of just pictures that could have been altered.
i would love to tell my children that i went to the moon for free and i take pictures and show them and i would tell the wonderful stories and how spectacular it was to see outerspace and the moon.
It would be a great oppurtunity to see a different "dimension"(if u could call it that) that's not even on Earth. It's probably gonna be fun. Micheal Jackson. .... :(
That is a once in a life time opportunity. I would take it and, if I die, so be it. I'll have the distinction of dying either on the moon, on my way to the moon, or on my return from the moon.
Even if someone paid me to go, I wouldn't because - as everyone knows - NASA stands for Need Another Seven Astronauts - hahaha!! get it? Anyway, knowing my luck we'll crash into the sun, get abducted by aliens from outer space or accidentally fall out of the rocket, freeze, and then blow up. Even if I survived, it would be another couple of months before I got home again and I wouldn't be surrounded with adoring fans; I would end up looking like a loser who is trying to get some desperate attention. I mean, a few people have gone to the moon now, so it is a case of "been there, done that, got the t-shirt" and so on...
If I went to the moon, I'd see a large gray barren hell scape full of craters and small U.S. flags.
Whereas if I sold my moon-tickets on Ebay, I'd easily make some serious cash, and I could fly to Afghanistan to get the same experience for a fraction of the cost.
So, no, I would not want to go to the moon, but I'd gladly like to win those tickets.
You, my friend, are a genius. I would totally do what you would do if i won that ticket. Sure it'd be cool to go there, but selling it would be even better!
Probably not, especially by myself ! I'm not psychically prepared neither would I be able to survive or maintain myself up there. Especially taking for EVER just to go to the moon. Not worth drinking my recycled peepee.
I agree, what a long journey..I dont even like waiting for a bus.........and i get cabin fever...........id regret it about 10 minutes after take off ...and probably do myself in.....before i even got there...RECYCLED PEE ?...EWW...i will just stay home thanks.
The moon ? NO WAY ! Have seen enough images to know that the moon is not a very hospitable place and is not good enough even as an adventure outing. It has no people, no animals, no birds, no trees, no buildings, no air, no water and not even gravity ! I wouldn't even go if someone paid me, leave alone a free trip
NASA's definition of water cannot be taken seriously as they would be looking for spectrographs which reveal the existance of molecules containing two atoms of hydrogen and one atom of oxygen, in order to decree that there is water..and they dont mean you can drink it, cook in it, or swim in it ! and any mass has gravity ? no, sir ! gravity is a force exerted by the earth on objects around it, including the moon ..
Gravity is existent by all matter. The earth, being the largest object within distance to us, pulls us in. As do we all pull it towards ourselves. We simply aren't massive enough to account. The earth and moon and everything is pulling on one another. This is why the moon pulls our oceans tides to and fro.
Besides, I would take NASA's word long before others when it comes to the fields of astrological contents.
Really dude? I mean, I understand, but I really can't imagine passing up that opportunity. If it were asking if I'd like to LIVE on the moon, I'd probably say no, of course. But just to go there? I wouldn't pass it up.
I dunno.... It just seems like a lot of hype. I'm happy on Earth and I have no desire to leave it (unless you count death much much later in life. lol).
WTF! Who want's to go to the moon? Choose out of these four choices:Who the hell wants to: a. get hit by an asteroid. b. see an empty, bumpy wasteland filled with U.S. flags. c. see Micheal Jackson and Ronald McDonald dancing together. d. Be at home safe and sound. I would choose d. dont choose c.(that one was a joke. ;) Doesnt d sound better than all those other choices? it sure does to me. If i got a free trip to go to the moon, i would rather switch tickets with someone else and go to Afghanistan to watch the fun instead.

I like various trips and I have to admit that traveling is my life. For example, before several months I have been at Paris. This city is wonderful and I really recommend for all people to visit it if you have not been there. So if I won a trip to moon, I definitely would go there!
