That accurate report was back in 2018 and the statistics have changed since then. The main reason for this spike in knife crime was when the wokes got their way and had the highly successful crime prevention measure of, STOP & SEARCH cancelled. Even though blacks represent 90% of all murders in the U.K., generally, and in London in particular they whinged that this procedure was, YES, YOU'VE GOT IT, RACIST. Once the ban on this procedure was lifted and police were free to STOP & SEARCH those whom they deemed likely to be carrying a knife, or any other lethal weapon the death rate dropped significantly. As most of the knife murder crimes were BLACK-ON-BLACK there were many who, for very good reason thought that these figures shouldn't have been included in the figures.
