In front of children, parents act as if they were angels as kids.
I think they do. I mean some parents dont accept a childs mistake(s) and scold them as if they never made any themselves or never wanted to do something like that themselves.

Yea, often this is the case. Parents want to set a good example even if they made the same mistake. They don't want their children to make the same mistakes...it may look like the parent is being hypocritical, but reality is they are really trying to be a good parent. Side: Yes they do
