In light of the recent epidemic, should election funds be diverted to combat it?

The amount of money that goes into election campaigns is staggering and this year is no exception with Mike Bloomberg investing a whopping $275m. With this being the case, should these funds be put to the effort against CONVID-19, or is their current use reasonable given they are from fundraisers?

So was the money wasted on impeachment.

But that money was only wasted because the Republican Party is corrupt and nobody was interested in the stack of evidence implicating Trump in criminal activity.
