In the movie, twilight, vampires and werewolves coexists, why can't we?

vampires and werewolves

Vampires have the upper hand over werewolves but they still don't take the werewolves out. They just talk it over and come to some kind of an agreement.

Vampires are more scary than werewolves because when someone says, "vampire!" people run. But when someone says, "werewolf!" people say, "where?" Maybe because werewolves look like giant cuddly puppies.

The movie also pointed out that pasty white people are vampires and that Washington state is full of these people. I wont be visiting there any time soon. I wonder if Bill Gates is a vampire?

Because the Muslims won't let us!

Nor will any other supremist group!

Yeah, I hate those guys ;)

The world is becoming more and more inclusive. First there was ebony and ivory and now it's werewolves and vampires. What's next; the Sharks and the Jets? The Crips and the Bloods?

they weren't vampires... they were people who liked to suck blood and couldn't die.

vampires:

die in the sunlight

can die from a stake to the heart

hate garlic

hate the crucifix

can turn into bats

sleep in coffins

can't be seen in the mirror

suck blood and turn others into vampires

Side: No vampires in Twilight

But didn't they say in the movie that the doctor guy had turned the others into vampires? And didn't the main character call himself a vampire? And didn't they show feats not possible by ordinary humans?

Side: No vampires in Twilight

well you are right but some peopel get so in love with vampires and stuff that they actually act like one and if it gets to bad they actually kill peopel and drink there blood i mean i love the movie and books but some people just take it to far!

Um, well, the co-existance of vampires and werewolves goes back into Vampire folklore. Specifically with Bram Stokers Dracula, the vampires had the ability to change into werewolves and bats.

Because twilight puts aside the cannon mythology in order to make a sappy love story.

Also, I'm pretty sure that Edward and Jacob try to kill each other a few times. Not 100% sure though.
