I love my country, but yes, we are screwed if things dont change posthaste.

Side: Yes

America always believed oil could bail them out of their debt issues.

The problem is, the world is starting to forget oil. (e.g. Indias PM just announced solar energy will be in all Indian's homes by 2019)

so it seems as though their money is now worthless, they have no resources, and the only thing they can do successfully is bomb other people.

Seems like a 7'10'' aggressive bully. You can't beat him cuz he's 7'10'' so the only thing you can do is just walk away.

Side: Yes

Our economy sucks due to Obama and Bush. Were getting less undemocratic by the year.

Even though the Nsa spies on everyone, They can't even tell if China is sucking government secrets like a fucking leach.

For all you know Edward Snowden can be giving Secrets to certain people that will Suck Saddam Hussein's dick to get those secrets. So YEAH,were pretty screwed.

With sentences like these, why would anyone take you seriously?

Well, Bush was a Republican and Obama is a Democrat so he kinda has a point.

Not yet, but probably getting close.

- 15 Trillion in Debt

This is alarming yes. The government is in more debt for each person in the country than that person is in debt themselves. I think the only way that individuals get close is if you add mortgages.

- 5,000 innocent lives killed by Police authority since 9/11 (<3000 died on 9/11)

5,000 in 13 years doesn't seem like a lot. That's 1 a day. Is that in New York only? Is that per year? Is there something that makes this number bigger than it looks.

- Gun control

It is getting bad, but they will start relaxing the rules again. You can't get rid of guns in America, so that will help us.

- Lack of health care

I have been to the doctor many times. We have health care. You are wrong.

- Lack of education

I have a college degree. I am pretty sure you can get educated in America.

- Increase expenditure on military

Ok, this might be a problem. But, it relates to increasing the debt.

- Increase in pollution

I am not sure if this is true. But pollution is bad.

- Increase in debt

You are using debt again. That's already covered.

- NSA

They are a government agency we can actually confirm is doing work. So, that's good, right.

- WikiLeaks files (government secrecy)

- Snowden, Assange, Michael Hastings (and others)

Why did these get 2 different lines?

- The forgetting of Ron Paul

This one does piss me off. But, not for forgetting Ron Paul. Ron Paul is not being forgotten, he is being systematically ignored.

That ~17 Trillion in debt isn't quite as bad as it may seem; that is the sum total of all debt owed by the US Government- only about 1/3 of it is owed to other countries, the rest being owed to individuals and institutions within the US.

This is as of 2013, mind you, and may have since increased.

It doesn't seem so bad until a vote comes around to increase the debt limit and the credit rating for the country takes a hit. I don't think it matters who owns our debt. At some point that well will dry up, not to mention how much money is being lost on interest alone. It says something about the economic responsibility of the government.

How many guns do you have now, and how many would you have if Obama weren't stopping you?

3 and 4. Why? He is probably talking about a lack of gun control, and I was turning it around to show he wasn't clear.

Side: No

You are looking at the information from the wrong perspective. The stuff in the debate description is what makes America... well... America.
