Well, I remember the site having more argumentative depth in the past, when I first joined, but then I took a long break, and when I came back, it was a bit more lax. Most arguments have lost the links, proof that is desperately needed, and many arguments are just attempts at being funny. That's all good, as long as that person also has arguments that are thought-out and meaningful.

If you look back to the debates of 250 days ago, there is an obvious difference. The site has changed, but whether that is for the better or for the worse is a matter of opinion.

I've watched as this site has gone downhill in my time here. I agree wholeheartedly that the substance of debate is no longer one of quality. It is rather one of quantity and subject matter that is of little interest to an adult. If the authors of this site wish to attract people of quality then the site must draw them and must also be a site of quality debates and subject matter. When we come down to a debate which asks what gum has a better taste and is longer lasting, we may as well throw our pencils in the recycle bin and move on.

Some of the debates seem to be ridiculous now. When I first joined I thought that the debates were very worthwhile and really I did not have need to pick and choose to much. Just that some debates were a little to deep for my understanding. I cannot comment on some issues since I am to young to really understand them. Now it seems like the site is dropping like a rock with the inteligence of the debates being created. I have seen debates about poop, chuck norris, and many other debates that really require no true thinking. Y alli esta mi puta no entiendo ella huay!
