All things being equal I believe it is the best RPG experience available as a computer game. It's unfortunate that I have to play it as an adult because I think a diminishing sense of imagination limits the depth of experience you can have with games as you get older. Nothing for me will ever top the days hunched over my Commodore 64, playing Bard's Tale or Last Ninja for eight or nine hours straight. Side: Yes

Marx was another lazy loafer just like you Ahaha! Yes, buddy. A lazy loafer who wrote the most comprehensive analysis of political economy the world has ever seen, either before or since. Das Kapital alone is three 800 page volumes of academic study. Stop throwing your rattle at Marx, you daft Irish Nazi. We all know what would have happened to Marx under your retarded theory of eugenics. He was Jewish, so you'd have gassed him. Side: Yes
@Nomenclature Nothing for me will ever top the days hunched over my Commodore 64, playing Bard's Tale or Last Ninja for eight or nine hours straight. Commodore 64?? (I've never even heard of that) Nom, if you are really about 40 years old, then you are hopelessly immature, and clearly will never revise your behavior and/or thought processes (or else it would have happened by now). Edit: I've honestly largely been under the impression that I'm arguing with someone roughly my age who has latched onto some foolish beliefs and behavioral patterns in their youth and naivety. It appears that is not the case after all Side: Yes

Commodore 64?? (I've never even heard of that) Google it. They were very popular in the 1980s and early 1990s. if you are really about 40 years old I have no reason to lie to you about my age, you poor excuse for a troll. then you are hopelessly immature MathFan, if ever there were conclusive proof of something, it is that you have a serious narcissistic personality disorder. I have told you, at least half a dozen times, that I do not give a fuck about your opinion, and yet you still feel obligated to follow me into every thread and force it into my throat. If I had the slightest patience for your idiocy I would demand to know how that is an example of "mature" behaviour, but alas, I am running low on patience with hateful retards today. Goodbye. Yeah the base game is real good and its even better with all the mods out there, graphics were great at the time, the story was cool. The main problems of the game were 1) just too easy, maybe challenging in the beginning but once you get your hands on the electricity magic spell you can kill dragons by the dozen 2) The combat system was boring as hell (would have been better if it had been a bit more like Dark Souls) Side: Yes

The combat system was boring as hell (would have been better if it had been a bit more like Dark Souls) I also thought that way after my first playthrough a few years back, but this time around I've become more involved in magic and archery, and have discovered that the pause function on the quick menu can make the game play more like Dragon Age Origins or Baldur's Gate 2. It's a different experience if you frequently pause combat to issue tactical orders. You might have a point about Dark Souls though. Some players would have preferred it to be that brutal. You can get mods to make it play more like Dark Souls. That trilogy is one of my favourites of all time. I've finished all three. Side: Yes
It would have been cool if they had included a tactical aspect of the game, I was really disspointed of the lack of challenging big scale battles, cuz cmon I could have taken Solitude by myself if I wanted to The Dark Souls serie is really great, ive only played the 3rd one though (the other ones were just too ugly graphically). It was the first game I played with an xbox controller (im more of a pc gamer) and it was so damn hard, I think I died about 50 times on Vort of the boreal valley (the second boss of the game). The story was hard to understand but after a lot of reading online, I can say it beats everything ive ever read, probably even the Lords of the Rings Side: Yes
