He made his children suffer to save you from evil. And now what are you doing? You are indulging in evil. As an atheist you don't know how much of a terrible impact your sin is having on your life. If you followed God you would become so joyful. Your sin is like chains bound on you, preventing you from being free. Do you really want that? To forever to be trapped in a pit of sorrows? Do you really enjoy your ignorance in saying that God demands child sacrifice and abortion? He condemns such evil things. The bloody God of the Old testament surely is a bad guy. Worse...a homicidal and quite daft wanker who would be locked up and executed today. Whereas I don't recall Lucifer ever killing even a small fraction of the folks the OT God did. And as I have written before we all know that the reason Satan was kicked out of Heaven and had to bugger off down here was cos he was sticking up for us with God. Trying to tell God not to be so sodding hard on us and to not be so jealous and petty and maniacal. Sure, God is a bad guy! First of all, I should argue that God does not exist but that's going off-topic. For argument's sake we shall say this entity or image of higher knowledge or energy exists (because sometimes us atheists have to show our kind hearts). God is a bad guy for allowing mankind to create more religions. Whenever newer religions emerge, the human race has always separated to create distinct groups instead of reuniting as humanity. As we all see religion creates differences among us and sometimes those little differences have subtle ramifications. Take for example, Sikhs, Hindus and Muslims in India. All Sikhs in India are daily targeted for physical and mental assault, their friends and family tormented with threats, weapons and abuse and their beliefs and values played around with. Who is to blame for this? Religion. Certain Hindus and Muslims hold themselves responsible for representation of entire religion while individuality holds them accountable. If this "god" was a good guy, then he would not have asked Jesus, Mohamed, Moses, Guru Nanak and other founders of monotheist religion- as a monotheistic god is what everyone is supposedly arguing about - to start a new religion and preach about him to the world. It is totally bizarre how people believe such an entity even existed. This is man-made! Side: He Is

God was grieved that He made man when He saw that the imaginations of their hearts were only evil continually. God has the right to end your time, my time, everybody's time whenever He feels our time is over. God will execute you as a sinner, you have sinned against God and He has every right to leave you suffering in all kinds of torment including the fire of Hell. God died for you, paid your price in death on the cross and if you hate God you cannot expect Him to withhold His wrath from you after He died for you and you just sit there spitting in His face trampling His blood under your feet. The Flood was a judgement against the wickedness of mankind. The next time God will use fire on the Earth against all those who hate Him, against His enemies, against people who talk like you do against God. It's good to know God will punish evil and separate His enemies by leaving them in Hell dying forever where the living who are redeemed by the blood of the Lamb of God, Jesus, will not have to put up with the evil mouths and actions of sinners. People with evil hearts like the foul mouth perverts here can only see God as being evil and they try to hide from God by putting up a brick wall in their mind, shutting down half of their brain and hiding in the other half trying to keep the wall up while their sin is making it crumble on top of them. Fighting against your Creator is fighting against your own life, your own soul, and plunging you into the fire of Hell where there will be nothing indicating God is good....like a drop of water or a cool breeze...fight against God and you are a fool. Seek the Lord while He may be found, seek Him with your whole heart and you will find Him, you will know His forgiveness and love in that He died for you to save you from Hell and lives to justify all who receive Him in reality as their Savior. He's not. People make Him out to be the bad guy, but, based off of what I've seen in arguments, people use arguments that actually go in favor of God instead of against Him. In a few arguments, I've seen people make Satan out to be the good guy in all of this when in actuality, he's the one that set all of the evil in motion Side: He is Not
That's all true and I'm inclined to agree with it. However, you're assuming that because God has not stopped Lucifer completely, then therefore He is the bad guy. You're leaving out the fact that God being all-knowing has a morally sufficient reason for allowing everything to happen. You're also leaving out the fact that God is too loving to take away satan's freedom of choice even though satan abused it and fell away and caused the destruction he did Side: He Is
I agree he always sets all the evil in motion. Because of him there is always a constant fight for land, a constant fight over something so obliterate as to not wearing a cross necklace as jewelry and a constant need for people to spend money on worshiping this non-existing entity. Side: He Is

God is not the bad guy, humans are. Influenced by their cultures and the way they were raised, whether is was bad or good it doesn't matter each person accepts these life experiences differently. Each person has their own imagination of who god is no matter what religious back round their from. Throughout history we see these global body powers whether it was the church waging wars in the name of god, or nations doing it in the name of their god or for power and greed. Materialistic things of this world are our own demise, not everyone is this way. It might say in the bible to commit such horrendous acts of inhuman treatment to others based on certain actions. We are all capable of weighing the good from the bad, and we each have interpretations of what that looks like. Yes farther back in our barbaric past we committed these acts because the holy book from whatever religion that book is from said to do so. But humanity during those lost times needed an escape from reality, so living for the holy book was the answer. As we grown as a species we learned that earth won't accept these horrible acts of inhumanity, so huge puppet governments were starting to be created to tell us what we can and cannot do. But these governments still rage wars in the name of god of past religious clashes. We are all intellectually capable of pointing fingers at certain things we do or do not believe in and blame them for things that have happened. But we need to realize people have the power and need to start realizing the actual problem is us, not god. Human Preservation! Side: He is Not
