Is Hell a bonfire?

"Bonfire, with the prefix "bon" meaning "good", would not seem good if you are in the fire, so how can Hell be a bonfire?  Is God good for confining sinners in Hell so they wont' make any more trouble for those who are not in Hell?
So from God's viewpoint, Hell would be a bonfire but for those who are serving their time as sinners there, would it be a bad fire?

If you insist on using the generally agreed upon origin of the word being from "bonefire", fine. The question remains unchanged regardless. Is Hell a good fire? Is it good to know the bones of the wicked will smolder like coals in the bonfire of Hell as the wicked forever are dying in Hell?

I don't know if it is, or not, but you should bring some hotdogs and marshmallows so you'll have something to eat.

Go ahead and try it if you want to, I'm on my way to Heaven and as far as I know there will be no fire there, nothing that can hurt anybody. If you really think you can enjoy hot dogs in Hell.......well, why not grab a hot dog and throw yourself into a bonfire and give it a try? Hot dog smoked with human flesh, your own flesh....why not give it a try and see how you like it? Oh yeah, I know, you are already following the suggested course, you already are planning to be in Hell.

Did you watch that ISIS video with the guy burnt alive in a cage? I bet that is hilarious to you eh? "Hahaha burn baby baby! I'm off to heaven. Laterz!!"

There is a great gulf separating those dying in Hell from the living, so that they cannot come from Hell and roam where they do not belong, and the living cannot cross that gulf. Sin causes a separation from God, you cannot see God because your sin has separated you from God.

And even if somebody could bring you hot dogs and marshmallows, they would burn to dust quickly before you could enjoy them.....and even if you got a taste of one, the memory of that taste would only add to you misery.

I guess there's reality, then there's what you think.

Telling me to go to Hell is not acceptable for this discussion. If you want to discuss the topic in relation to the question of Hell being a good fire or not, discuss it. If you don't want to discuss it, please do not post your personal desire for me to go to Hell or anything off topic.

Why do you think they always say "fires of hell".. It is not something good.

Well of course it's not good for people who end up dying in the fire of Hell forever, but is it not good to know that the wicked will be cut off from the living and confined in Hell where they will be dying forever and their sin will not bother the living again? Is it not good to know God punishes evil?

Bon in bonfire is from the English bone. The burning of bones is a pagan festival. Have you converted?

“Bon” is an adjective or noun that’s usually equivalent to “good”. You use it to talk about a state of being, to describe a person or an object. The adjective is french.

though you participated constructively here never , here is my offer for you to participate, but you chose to spit your profanity in my face, probably through the holes where you used to have teeth.

Why don't you just stay out of my discussions? Why make me ban you?
