It's helpful in most cases but it's ridiculously boring.

I think homework is helpful no matter how annoying it may be because it helps students to learn better and to memorize it more efficiently.

It can be either. It's up to the student. You can either embrace it and do it efficiently or dread it and fabricate stress.

I wouldn't even say that homework is harmful, harmful mentally moreover physically. Let us look on the brighter side shall we. Home works are there to hone and improve our abilities on a certain topic or matter. Take home works as practices. Take for example, football. Football requires lots and lots of practices and sometimes you might get hurt, but once you've reached your goal, all those minor injuries and mistakes that you've done have actually taught you a lesson. Same goes with homework. If you don't do your homeworks then you might repeat the same mistake you've done during your final exams, instead of avoiding them beforehand because you've done your homework. Be thankful that we are all given a first try on learning and practicing a lesson or a topic, rather than straight away answering a final exam. Just as saying, that without homework is like forcing you to fight on a boxing match without even practicing.

if you get it you're done with the subject.

if you don't, you know where you're going wrong. and you can get done with the subject.

if you don't know where you're going wrong, you need help to get done with the subject.

so basically, its not as harmful as it sounds. just boring. and too much work maybe.

It's harmful if you think an interruption to a constant stream satisfaction is dangerous.

If you don't do homework, you wont get smart. If you are not smart, you wont pass year 12. If you don't pass year 12, you wont get to university. If you don't pass university, you wont get a job. If you don't get a job, you wont get any money. If you don't get any money, you wont be able to buy food. If you wont be able to buy food, YOU DIE!!!
