The problem is we have no satelite imagery of any other time period in history to know if this is a normal cyclic pattern that happens every few decades or centuries or so. For all we know the slow shifts of the Earth cause this by its altered tilt, among many other factors, such as sun spots and flares.

I'm very unclear on what this means, but perhaps it means China is polluting like a stackhouse on steroids, plans on polluting more, is militarizing at a very rapid pace, and doesn't give a flying rat's ass what any Future Climate Accord says.
