He said Trump is vile and asked me to explain how he was wrong. My answer was, saying someone is vile is an opinion. I then said "Obama is vile" as an answer based on satire. It's hardly my problem that you can't keep up due to inferior intellect.
If you don't have a cop IN the bedroom OR the Dr's office, HOW you gonna enforce illegal abortion? Or, are you gonna leave it to the honor of women to obey the law???
Protecting your country has nothing to do with the size of government. It assures less people are on the dole, which shrinks government and reduces their need to tax me to death.
ICE and the National Guard are paid the same whether at the border or sitting at base or sleeping at home. Soldiers don't get a big giant raise when they head to Iraq or Afghanistan or Vietnam. Ask me how I know that.
It depends on what their function is. If it is to protect and defend the individual rights of it citizens and sovereignty of the nation, then that’s simply what any government should do.
When Conservatives call for smaller government, they mean the role of the government has expanded beyond what is proper and just.
If it is to protect and defend the individual rights of it CITIZENS and sovereignty of the nation, then that’s simply what any government should do.
Hello again, A:
Here's where we go off kilter.. When addressing Due Process of Law, the 5th Amendment applies to "PERSONS", not "CITIZENS". Right wingers SAY they want their judges to interpret the Constitution as WRITTEN, not as interpreted by some lefty.. Consequently, the word PERSON is substantially DIFFERENT than the word CITIZEN..
ON the ground, that means if you're arrested by the United States government and you're a PERSON, Constitutionally, you're entitled to Due Process. When a PERSON presents himself to our border as an asylum seeker, he is ENTITLED to Due process of law. When a person SNEEKS across the border and is arrested by the government, he is Constitutionally entitled to Due process of law.
I BELIEVE in the Constitution as WRITTEN.. Following it TO THE LETTER, is proper and just.
Yes, they are entitled to due process, which they currently receive. The problem is the nature of that process. Either children are kept in detention with their parents throughout the process, or they are placed in a non-jail setting. As of now, the Government has been sued for both options.
Hey you Constitutional Scholar does the 5th Amendment put cops in the bedrooms of Americans ?????????? This should be some real fun from a Twisted Idiot like you !!!!!
As I see it: The police protects the people of a nation, and makes sure people follow the rules the government enforces. I would like to hear how you see it though.

Hello Flo:
Yes, and no.. When they cops arrest a burglar, they're protecting the nation..
But, I dunno WHO they're protecting when they arrest marijuana smokers. I dunno WHO they're protecting when they separate children from their parents..
I guess it depends on the country. Each country is different. In Portugal, they legalized drugs, and offered help to those who needed it instead of arresting them. It went very well with such. As for kids being separated, it may be for differing reasons, like the parents abusing the children, letting them drink, etc. Though as for the separation during immigration, I agree with you. I don't think it's fine to do such.
I am in no way a scholar as I haven't read the constitution of the US, nor do I know where to find it because I don't live in said country. I just state what I believe, so please do take what I say with a grain of salt.
More police means, on paper again, more law enforcement. I wouldn't call cops the government, I'd rather call them what they are: law enforcers. Maybe lackeys for the government, but they aren't a part of the government completely.
They serve in the executive branch of state and local government (Federal if that’s their jurisdiction). They are definitely part of the government. They embody the government’s monopoly on most uses of force.
So, the more citizens a civilization has, the "bigger" the civilization gets. That's how you see the government, correct? I ask because I don't think an analogy can be made with the government. I believe that more cops means more government enforcement, not more government.

No. That’s the way excon sees it.
I believe that more cops means more government enforcement, not more government.
I’m in agreement with you. But I don’t find that this renders law enforcement non-governmental.
If you have three branches of government, and their payroll varies with necessity, this does not mean the governments size varies. At least not in the sense people usually talk about it. If you were to add a forth branch of government, then the size of government has increased, even if the numbers on the payroll were to decrease.
But I don't find that this renders law enforcement non-governmental.
Exactly. Law enforcement is definitely governmental. There's no debate there. However, I don't believe that more cops means that the government is getting bigger.
then the size of government has increased even if the numbers on the payroll were to decrease
Right, which is what conservatives want to fight against. We're against the expansion of the government, not the expansion of everything governmental.
Breaking News for you Socialist there is a new law just put in place and they are the BEDROOM COPS !!!!!!!!! They are instructed by the FBI to inhabit each and every bedroom in America per Rosenstein.
