Is Murder Right When The Reason To Murder Is Right?
If we learn of someone murdering another person just for the satisification of kill, is that right or wrong? We consider that wrong. And therefore, we think of murder in that case, wrong.
But what if we learn of someone murdering another human being for self defense, we would probably say it was a right move because it is understandable. Does that make murder right?

The wording of the question is choppy, but proving self defense is always tricky because was there really intention of murder in relation to self defense if one of the two can no longer atest to the intent of murder. I support self defense, but it has many potential implications. Murder should be punished by death. Side: Right

Can you clarify as to why you said your last sentence please? You said you support self defense which makes you supportive of the "Right" side. But when you said "murder should be punished by death," it implies that you are supporting the "Not Right" side of the debate. Are you saying that even if it self defense, the murderer should still be put to death? Or maybe you are saying that self defense isn't murder. Please excuse my ignorance. I have plenty. lol And how would you choose to word this debate?...I am trying lol. Thnx :) :) Side: Right

but, if someone murders someone else for self defense, this will not be considered as murder right? since murder is the unlawful killing, with malice aforethought, of another human, and generally this state of mind distinguishes murder from other forms of unlawful homicide (such as manslaughter). correct? In a situation between life and death.. You choose your life, or you let that someone kill you. Maybe you can defend yourself, but what if its like this.... "You pushed the man who's trying to kill you, and his head accidentally hit a stone. It caused him to die." Would you count that as murder.. and how could you stop yourself from trying to save your life.. when you are in panic or in shock?? Side: Right

In my opinion it is not right because those who think it's right to murder when the reason to murder is 'right' will have their own opinions on what they consider a right reason to murder. Who will be the judge of what is a right/wrong reason to murder? Let's say the murderer thought he/she committed the crime for the right reason but was caught and charged for the murder- in some jurisdictions, the judge's powers may or may not be shared with a jury whether it is or not at the end of the day one or both of those will have to make a decision on the deserved punishment when the murderer is on trial and the severity of the punishment which will be a matter of opinion again anyway...
