He's certainly not our youngest President and he does have enough experience to be the leader of this nation. The people he is selecting for his cabinet shows that he can make very wise choices as well.

Now, tell us about Obama's economic plan and why it's "bad." As to offshore drilling, although he is not for it and neither am I, he has softened his stance on it a bit. Offshore drilling won't solve anything in the short term and probably not in the long term either since it would take at least 10 years to get anything out of coastal drilling. You also run the risk of disturbing a very fragile Eco-system while doing so!

Offshore drilling is a short term solution to a long term problem. America only has 3% of the world's oil supply but we consume 25%. How can furthering our dependence on oil solve that? Not to mention the environmental impact of petroleum based fuels. He is instead investing in alternative energy which is a much smarter idea. Relying on oil to solve our energy crisis is about as stupid as investing in pagers 10 years ago.

As for the experience thing, you can see simply from his advisor picks that he knows what he is doing. He's not picking yes men, but people who are experts in their field. I am very hopeful that Obama will correct a lot of the mistakes that have been made over the last couple years.
