Is UFO hunting a dumb hobby?

Some of my friends and I like to look at the sky and study the stars. I have a celestron nexstar telescope and it can see many different things. Recently me and my friends decided to start looking for UFO's. What do you think of this hobby?

Side Score: 8

Personally, I think it is a waster of time. If there are aliens, they would have invaded us by now.

Side: Yes

No way. I have a Celestron Nexstar telescope too. I always enjoyed watching the skies and it is a high powered telescope. I love UFO hunting.

Side: No

Oh yes. Is your telescope computerized? I have been trying to find the nibiru cataclysm. I hear it is south east of orion.

Side: Yes

I have not found it yet but I think it is there. I have tried to do mathematical formulas for its exact location but to no avail I have failed.

Side: No

What's a dumb hobby? All hobbies are a way to use access time you have. In that regard doing anything in that space could be seen as a dumb hobby. As for UFO hunting, I saw a clever comment on another post that said:

"UFO stands for Unindentified Flying Objects so basicaly anything that flies and is not indentified is considered UFO. It can be a common smal plane like Cesna or Russian bomber, if it not idenfied it is UFO"-IzetFazlinov

So the way I see it, looking for Unidentified Flying Objects, could be looking to identify those flying objects, whatever they may be. Extraterrestrial or otherwise.

Side: No

Yeah. We usually look for anything out of the ordinary. Most of them were high flying jets or stealth bombers. I havent seen anything concrete yet but it is fun because I learn stuff everyday.
