Is Virginity Overrated?
I think it is, especially for guys. For girls, it was valued because of disease risks, as well as making sure any child you had was yours.

It does not matter what you have or haven't done. It's similar to saying "if you haven't gotten 1000 points on createdebate in a month, then you a noob scrub". It is just stupid. People should be able to live their lives the way they want without having to accomplish something by a certain age. Side: Yes

Virginity should be rated 'highly'. Actually, I think sex in general should be rated 'highly'. Disease risks are there for both guys and girl, and there are also many other things to consider. Virginity it self, isn't a big deal in my opinion, but sex, which is practically a more generalized version of virginity (Being that it's not focused on one happening) is a pretty 'big' deal, being that it can situationally be life changing. (One screw up, you can end up with a kid or a disease. A big deal indeed.) In my opinion, if anything, it's typically underrated. Side: No
I think sex and virginity is overrated. I think it should be a pleasurable bonding experience. Most decent people that are together for a while before sleeping together are less likely to get a disease. Even sleeping around doesn't make u capable of getting a disease unless the girl is really really dirty. Side: Yes
Although if you're refering to just the title "Virgin", than I still think it's underrated, although I do think that many guys look at it in the wrong way. Being that some guys look down on virgins. Although I personally think that it's pathetic for someone to think highly of themselves for being able to 'seduce' a woman. Emotional relationships are much more important than sexual ones...
