Is WWE Racist?
60 years of wrestling. Not one black champ. Ok so its fake, but that is really, really fake. Look at other sports. Look at UFC about to pitch its tent on two incredible wrestlers in Cormier and Jones...
In UFC Cormier manhandles a guy like Dan Henderson, in WWE hed probably lose.
- The PW Torch has gone on record stating talks with a WWE employee alleging a racist culture behind the scenes in WWE that apparently includes Vince McMahon giving his private jet a racially offensive nickname. In addition, Vince apparently tries to teach black wrestlers how to be "more black", whatever the hell that means. The creative team is made up almost entirely of white men with the exception of Dave Kapoor, who you may know as Ranjin Singh. It's alleged his nickname among some agents within the company is "Taliban".

What we have here amounts to an alternative reality, in which black people are told to act "more black" except unlike their real life counter parts, they are prevented from ever winning the gold.

I don't know a lot about wrestling but I think it's gonna be hard to pin a racism tag on WWE when you look at the history of the champs you've had an Iranian, South Americans and if the Rock doesn't count as a black champ because he's half Samoa, then America still hasn't had a black president because Obama's mother wasn't black!! I think because WWE is entertainment they want to give their audience what they want and the majority of wrestling fans do seem to be white teenage boys so as an entertainment company they supply the kind of champs white teenage boys want to see. I'm sure if their demographic suddenly changed and the majority of their fans were teenage black boys you'd get a black champ because I think the only colour the guys that run WWE really care about is green. The rock and obama. Come on. This is a bs line of rhetoric. The rock is about as black as elvis. Obama is mixed race, but he is obviously a different visual tone than the rock. Why has WWE never had one champ in all its history that is black? A lot of wrestling fans are black and vince sure seems to have some questionable practices. Saying their audience is white, so therefore the champ must be white is a cop out. Youve effectively created a whites only division at the peak of wrestling and the storytelling is actually more of a color bar than fair competition. In 60 years, not one black champ. Pathetic. So your saying the Rock wasn't Black enough and looks too white to count as a black man even though he's mixed race, his father was black and his mother was Samoan but Obama who is also mixed race, Black father & white mother looks black enough to count as a black man, now who's being racist? This isn't evidence that WWE itself is racist, perhaps it is evidence that it omits from hiring blacks due to viewers being racist, or that some wrestlers are racist, but it's not enough evidence to conclude that WWE is an innately racist group. Side: Nope cos the rock is black

Its not a race card, generically, every time someone mentions racism. Thats a deliberate ignorance, rather in keeping with the racist mindset, you literally ignore evidence, and talk about race cards.
