Yes in spirit, because the intercourse and pregnancy is forced.

The definition of rape by Merriam Webster is "unlawful sexual activity and usually sexual intercourse carried out forcibly or under threat of injury against a person's will". Animal breeding is sexual intercourse, but it isn't illegal and the animals aren't threatened.

I don't have a vagina, and also two other things.

1. The animals can't give consent.

2. The human isn't doing it to the animal, the animal is doing it to another animal. You are not raping something if you are not engaging in unlawful, non-consensual sexual intercourse.

Good point. But, my position isn't just "no", it's "no, not when the person forces the animal to mate with another animal" because even when you're forcing an animal to do something, you aren't forcing it to have sex with you.

First a lot would depend on the animal in question.

Fish spawn so no sexual penetration will ever take place so a rape cannot happen. While in the animal world it is the dominate male who wins right to procreate. As a human assuming this roll this would mean a choice can be made on behalf of the segregate of the dominate male, a roll taken on by human. No rape.

In animals that are devoted to mates and pick them out of the wild by choice the answer would be yes it could be rape.

When two animals who are naturally in sexual readiness are put together, they have sex.
