Is another Great Depression on the way?

Every time I hear about the next Great Depression, I'm always torn. Of course, any one doomsday theory is probably wrong. On the other hand, the U.S. keeps printing and spending money like it's going out of style, and that eventually has to catch up with us.

Do you think there will be a true financial meltdown in the next few years?

There is only one person you can blame well two but they have similar names, Osama and Obama, and no I am not saying that Obama is as bad as Osama but he has not been doing his job of saving the economy and everything he has done was because, George Bush started it and Obama just got to finish it but I do wish that Bush did it a little quicker though but he did do better in 4 years than Obama, besides the bombing on the twin towers.

Capitalism is boom and bust. The national and individual debt is high, demand will start to go down. This is the perfect storm.

Then we will go stronger from it.

Great

I don't think so.

Depression

Most likely. the cycle of the economy is a rising and falling graph. Where during prosperous times it expands, and during less prosperous times it contracts. The government was staying out when the last Great Depression occurred but they have ever since been keeping a close eye out on the economy, and have been doing things to prevent the graph from rising to high, causing inflation, or dropping to low causing depression.

They can only keep it at bay for so long though, so a depression i still believe could happen, just as inflation still happens, but i think they are monitoring it too closely for another Great Depression.

Side: No, don't fall for the hype

It is now 2015 and no Great Depression is coming. Now, in the future if unemployment reaches 25%, then a Great Depression will be here.
