According to Lolzors God has already decided who is going to believe and who is not. So the one's he decided aren't going to believe have no chance of saving themselves from hell. Amen.

Good question, it is for some people, but not all. I don't consider it a choice. I didn't just one day decide oh you know what, I am going to be an atheist. I just cannot, and do not believe in god. I didn't choose to not believe in god. I just can't. Too much goes against it, both factual and personal, all of which lead me to not have the choice over not believing in god. So no, it is not necessarily a choice.

I don't choose I just can't help it, I see and smell bullshit so that is that, I can't believe something if my mind is telling me something isn't right, IMO being a believer is a choice at least now days because there is no excuse for believing in any God now days with all the info and facts at our disposal, being anything but a nonbeliever is just being suborn, close minded and flat out dumb, no disrespect.

However one can choose to believe that there might be a creator but flat out saying it is true without any facts to back up that claim other then a tingly feeling in the belly is illogical, unreasonable and ignorant.
