Is being passionate about something wrong?

I don't think it is. Sometimes I think it is good to let your emotions get in the way and have yourself sparked by something. It frees your thoughts up for a topic and prevents you from being narrow minded

Being passionate about things that are wrong, i.e. stealing from your neighbor, is wrong. Being passionate about things that are good is never wrong. Passion is best expressed through sound reasoning and right intentions. Passion is not solely indicative of a crime or a good. Yet, all criminals are passionate of their crimes.

i speak of being passionate about a topic. any topic where somebody has grinded your gears and then you just have to put your two cents in.

Side: No, it shouldn't

Passion IS what sparks debate and there is certainly nothing whatever wrong with passion. Now, passion misdirected, I would have to say is utterly frustrating when you don't have your ducks lined up. Being passionate about something and being incorrect in your statements is not what we want here or in our lives. But give me a passionate person who deeply cares about subject matter and I'll give you a great person and debater!

Side: No, it shouldn't

Artists are passionate about their work and there are people in other walks of life who are passionate. Nothing wrong at all!
