It is. Yet, it's understandable in a way. I don't think anyone should hold it against Americans. However, there are certain facts that should be kept in mind. "War on terror" has killed more civilians than "terrorism" itself. That's something to think about.. :-\ But, I don't want to stray from the subject. My answer is simply that from a moral ground - it's not acceptable to be celebrating someone's assassination. Side: yes
Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy that Bin Laden is finally dead but celebrating in the streets over his death is a little excessive. He already succeeded in destroying the Twin Towers and killing thousands of Americans. If we would had killed him before September 11th took place, while having knowledge of his planned attacks, that would be worth celebrating. People are just celebrating America's revenge. It took 10 years for the most powerful and most advanced government in the World to find and kill one man. Bin Laden's death was way overdue. Side: yes

I can understand why people would be upset, and why they oppose the dancing in the streets. If you were personally hurt by Osama and the al Quaeda, then there is a great reason. But it can also be offensive to those in his country. To some people, that was a friend. But also, it is tasteless to kill thousands of innocent people, and kill people who work for you. No, I do not believe it is tasteless, because America has finally gotten rid of a person who claimed war against them, and has hurt and killed so many. Even though his death may backfire onto the American people so bad, this is a momentus occasion for the American people. Side: No
