Is human nature inherently evil?

What we want to do is our nature, what we decide to do is using our morals.

Although the term is subjective, based on what we subjectively call evil (e.g. killing, enslaving, stealing, and lying, etc) human nature naturally jumps to that before it jumps to the 'right' thing.

Examples include human history, and laws. We have so much dark history showing that when not regulated human do what humans collectively agree to be bad. We have laws to try to prevent people from doing what they would do normally, what we would consider bad. People want to do bad, because of our nature, and only do good because we know that it's bad and try to correct it.

I don't think that deems us as bad though. I think was are more neutral. We are capable or good and bad things but everything that is called "good" and "bad" are only seen that way by human eyes. By nature a species will dominate as since we are a more advanced species we can even show dominance in many ways over our own kind.

When I was a kid I knew what was right and wrong, but I still went and did the wrong evil stuff cuz it was fun :)

Human nature is that of an animals. Only through upbringing do we never take a dump in the grass but instead we go to the bathroom and take care of business.

Our nature is inclusion and as a pack animal. We've defined this as good, for all the good our definitions are I suppose.

As stated by others, those things we humans do outside of that nature is learned and not inherent.

We are more than not, our definition of good.

Side: No

I don't believe so. I think everyone is born good. Bad traits can develop later.
