Is humankind going to eventually kill out ourselves and the entire Earth?
Really... "I believe the world is burning to the ground"
The way I see it, we can only cover this earth with so much smog, global warming and skyscrapers, and the bigger the population gets, the bigger it will get... and there will be no more room or trees or animals, who will die off one by one, increasingly fast while the eco-systems collapse...
What does everyone else think?

I think that eventually, and I'm not exaggerating here, we will destroy all of humanity. Global warming is a HUGE problem on this planet, and that was caused by humans. The atmosphere will warm up, causing ice caps to melt, and all of the earths land will flood, and we will all drown. Another problem is war. These days, there are lots of wars going on, and millions of people are dying for reasons I don't even know. We've stopped using nuclear arms for 70 years, I think, but that doesn't mean we won't bring them back! If we don't stop war and pollution, and we know that wont happen, we will eventually wipe out humanity as we know it!!! Side: Eventually
yes as long as our countries fight each other and want to be a head of the other they will do anything to be on top and the environment is just the pawns in there little chess game until the hole world comes together we are going to keep killing ourselves and the environment around us we need to put they worlds pens not guns together and figure out a common ground to make peace on like...the survival on our world Side: yes unless peace comes
Well... There is going to be an end and that cannot be changed. How it happens is different. If we continue to remain stupid then yes we will be over, if we are perhaps much wiser it can be stopped. But, I'm pretty sure that life will retain for quiet some period. It is tough for it to simply burn out. There will be action. The World will figure out a way. I guess, or at least I hope with confidence. Side: yes unless peace comes

Nope. Room on our planet has barely been filled. Our oceans are practically empty in comparison to our land. Adapting technology to allow us to live in the oceans would not only solve overpopulation, but it would be far cheaper and easier then colonizing space this early on. Duuuuuurp-a-derp. To the question: no. Humans can make the planet uninhabitable--for humans and probably most mammals and higher order animals. But the vast majority of life will continue to thrive and compete, just as the Earth will continue long after we are gone and our cities crumbled. Side: Oceans Will Save Us
