Is it any coincidence that the billionaire's wealth doubled during the pandemic?

Wealth of world’s 10 richest men doubled to $1.5 trillion during the pandemic

"99% of the world’s population are worse off because of lockdowns, lower international trade, less international tourism, and as a result of that, 160 million more people have been pushed into poverty.”

In a free market economy most business enterprises can take advantage of a national or global crisis by aligning their manufacturing processes or services to meet the needs created by such a crisis as covid-19.

Most of the anti-coronavirus vaccines, such as the Oxford Astra Zeneca serum were developed as a result of Capitalist enterprise.

Anyone, or any group with an efficiently organized corporation and access to financial providers can hire the relevant experts in the fields necessary to research and develop vaccines, masks, sanitizers and PPE garments and equipment.

One such company which manufactured plastic hair-dryer casings was able to convert its manufacturing process to covid-19 lateral-flow testing kits.

With entrepreneurial drive and innovation, the sky is the limit.

Most people think and/or talk about starting a business of their own.

But it's not what you think or talk about that is important, it's only what you DO that counts.

It's only one in a thousand or so who take the plunge.

Hello bront:

Not really. Money is made during turmoil. Is that something we should apologize for? Nahh..

As a right wing capitalist, I'da thought you'd be proud of that instead of complaining about it..

Dude!

Capitalism is simply the exchange of goods and not by force. There are other words used to describe creating a virus, letting it loose on the world, demanding the world take your vaccine or else and making $1.5 trillion off of the poor via this redistribution of wealth manufactured by the Democratic Party and The Chinese Communist Party. "Greed" really isn't a shitty enough word to describe it, eh Con? Surely I can dig around in the urinal of political speech to come up with a more derogatory description of totalitarian psychopathy mixed with outright theft from those you pretend to serve and protect. It's okay Con. I got this. The right wingers will defend the poor, free speech and body rights for you. You just sit there and watch the right do what the Democrats used to call liberalism.
