I think being wealthy brings you respect. All the wealthy people I know, from news or just simple knowledge are always respected. Wealthy people are usually ranked high in some position; high positions have or deserve respect.

Being wealthy does bring you respect some how some way. If you have a lot of money people will respect you. Everybody knows if you are wealthy you must have worked hard to be where you are at and they will respect that.

It depends on what you consider wealthy. I'm wealthy in friends and family. Being wealthy does not necessarilly have something to do with money. It is good to be respected too, so i think it's good to be both.

Being well respected is the true element to leading a sufficient life. If you don't have the people around you respecting you then you have no trust. Money is worthless in the sense of honor.

I think its better to be well respected then wealthy, because if your respected then no one runs over people take you serious, but if your wealthy your not respected because, people will only see you for your money and they wont take you serious.

It's obviously more important to be well respected than to be wealthy. When you are respected you have a good warm filling inside. I don't know about everybody else, but I love to have that warm filling in my heart. Being respected by family, friends and teachers gives me the feelings that money can't give you. Money is weighed way to much in this day and time and if respect was weighed just as much, the world would be a better place.

I think it is better to be well respected, if you are well respected you will have friends and you need friends to get through life.

I think it is better to be well respected because the wealthy are sterotyped as being greedy and heartless to the people below them. And to be well respected is to be wealthy in other ways than having money, being well respected makes you wealthy with freinds, people who you can trust. When you are wealthy you really can't trust anyone because they will probably be after your money.

Well I think it's better to be well respected rather then wealthy.

Money can't buy you everything but being well enough respected can (^_^)

Well, my common sense tells me that it is better to be "WELL RESPECTED" as to being wealthy, because wealth without respect is blank(pointless). My reasoning for saying this is simply because "respect brings wealth". If one is respected human attraction is somewhat demanded and people dwell around respectable people who they know are reliable and will surely treat them with the "GOLDEN RULE". =] So if i were rolling in doe and a grinch, how would my blessings/karma come back around without shooting me with my own medicine and throwing me under the bus of "RUDE ATTITUDE!"

-dont get me wrong, having CA$H is great, but having cash and being an A-- is rotten!

I feel that it is better to be well respected than the be wealthy. Even though being wealthy may earn you some respect but you have to think about it. If you lost all your money and became a middle class citizen or poor, are the people who were around you, that you thought respected you do you think that they will be there. Most of the time they wont. But if you are just all around well respected and you are poor or even a middle class citizen, at least you don't have to worry about people going around behind your back and trying to take your money, like some one is wealthy. No one can take your respect, like they can take your money.

It is better to be well respected because having money and being rich isn't everything. You could have all the money you want and still be unhappy. Being respected means that people believe in you and and your ideas and thats where real power comes from. Being well respected brings more happiness than just having money. You can't buy happiness.

I believe being respected is better than wealth, because your friends are actually "real friends" than having "fake friends."

For me, I think being well respected would take me or anyone else farther than to best if I were to be wealthy. In the long run, I can feel great with myself being respected, because it makes others know where I stand on caring about someone feels than just probably being a stuck up snobby person with a lot of money. Though that is a stereotype, there are a select few that do that kind of thing. All that money can be here one day, and gone tomorrow, while being respected; if you keep up the way you act towards anybody you'd meet, then that would be cemented with you for eternity.

It is better to be well respected because people can trust you and wealthy people try to buy respect but what they really buy is two-faced people.

It's better to be respected because if you're respected people actually treat you right compared to if you had money people would use you. With money you'd have to worry who's really you're friend and who's a "gold digger". With respect people admire you and the things you do.

Its better to be well respected because then people will treat you with respect and not run all over you they'll take your opinion into consideration rather than somebody's who's wealthy because people will only see you for your money. Think about most celebrities aren't respected they get talked about for everything they do.But then again Donald Trump is wealthy and people respect him. I guess it all comes down to how you are as person you can be respected and be wealthy at the same time.
