Is it inhumain that my dog lives outside.

My dog has lived outside for her whole life, not by us forceing her. We brought her inside many times when we first got her but she wanted to go back out.

My friend calls it inhumain. I say it is not due to the fact that she wants to be out there. What are your oppions. And she is a not one of those small rat dogs, she is a siseable dog who can fend for her self. (i don't know the breed btw)

Not automatically. It depends on what the weather is like where you live. Also, did you give your dog a dog house or have a roofed porch, and if so is there some kind of matting the dog can sleep on?

I did, she lives in a dog house. In the summer we leave it with a light blanket for padding and in winter we give her some more blankets and some hay to keep warm.

As long as you're not leaving a hairless dog outside in Alaska on a 2 foot chain and only feeding it one meal a day, its fine.

Dogs like being outside, my two dogs are allowed in the house but they spend most of their time in the back yard.

Are you one of those hoarders? I mean..., is the inside of your house so messed up that even a dog wouldn't want to live there? Maybe she has a boyfriend dog next door? ;)

I do not hoard and she likes it outside because stuff smells better.

Are you saying that your house has a certain odor to it that is not pleasing to a dog? ;)
