Is it racist to want a holiday for your race but not other races?
Hello J:
Nahhh.. Juneteenth is a FEDERAL holiday in the United States commemorating the emancipation of African American slaves. It's a day WORTH celebrating by EVERYBODY, except a few - like you. I dunno why.
Tell me, truly, sir. What is it that you don't like about a holiday celebrating black people being freed?? The ONLY reason you WOULDN'T like it, is because you're pissed off that black people were freed in the first place, and you certainly don't wanna celebrate it..
And, you think if people DO wanna celebrate it, they're racist..
Yeah, quite a statement by excon but the points contained in his text are applicable and highly important.
The ''black question'' must be addressed openly and perhaps more importantly, realistically, throughout the world and no more so than here in the United States.
Black culture and the black's psyche' are incompatible with most of the white dominated environments in which they live.
What we need is to find some common ground from which to investigate the best way to accommodate and retain the principle and intrinsic features of both cultures while integrating the activities of everyday life into one united, multicultural group.
Then you're simply looking to expel groups like Excon's. Because they are, by a majority, the ones who seem to be so adverse to having some form of integrated culture.
As I cannot speak for the rest of my race. I'd like it if the inner city areas, and those who feel so inclined could ditch the whole "thug" mentality, and total gang apparatus that keeps them down in the gutter. Doing so would allow them to not only improve themselves, but to help improve their communities as well. And I'm not going to act like whites are immune to this same thing. Because we've all seen those guys who do their best to emulate the gang/thug subculture, and it usually just comes off as being sad, or at the very least, irritating.
I guess there will always be the resentful hard core of die-hards who will never try to to seek reconciliation as well as the so called silent majority who can be ignored as they will go along with whatever those people of substance have agreed.
The die-hards such as excon are the ones who will represent the greatest obstacle to lasting and just racial accord.
The ''latest buzz-term'' in racism is an updated version of scientific/biological racism which expounds the theory that WHITE is what is wrong with America.
Do away with WHITES and America will turn into a beautiful eutopia.
Whatever road we have to travel to find racial reconciliation will be fraugt with problems in the shape of the excons and Michael Dysons of this world.

From the Democratic Party who later put the Japanese in internment camps.
It's a day WORTH celebrating by EVERYBODY
Okay. So say thank you to the Republican Party, so that I can join you.
Tell me, truly, sir.
Did you just assume Jagaloon's gender? There's a strike for you with the left. Gonna have to report you to the woke police.
What is it that you don't like about a holiday celebrating black people being freed??
We do like it as long as you give the credit to the party that freed them.
The ONLY reason you WOULDN'T like it, is because you're pissed off that black people were freed in the first place, and you certainly don't wanna celebrate it.
Or because you'd reject a holiday for each of the other races, and in fact never bring them up.
And, you think if people DO wanna celebrate it, they're racist.
We think people who only want to celebrate THEIR race are racists. Aka you.

Hello KW:
I dunno WHY you guys have so much trouble with words.. Maybe it's so's you can make 'em mean something other than what they DO mean..
Here's the deal.. The holiday is celebrating what WHITE people did.. Not black people.. Lemme say it again. This holiday isn't celebrating ANYTHING black people did.. It celebrates what WHITE people did..
I dunno WHY you guys have so much trouble with words.. Maybe it's so's you can make 'em mean something other than what they DO mean..
No, if there was a holiday to celebrate the white race, it'd be racist. I know you have absolutely no principles, but it's racist for you too whether you have principles or not. MLK invisioned a day where a man's skin color no longer defined him. Instead, you praise him as a civil rights leader and ignore everything he said all at once.
No, if there was a holiday to celebrate the white race, it'd be racist.
Hello M:
Yes, it would be.. But, if you read and can understand English, THIS holiday doesn't celebrate black people.. It doesn't come close. Once again, and for the LAST time, because I'm tired of dolts, THIS holiday celebrates an event that WHITE people did..
Here's the deal.. The holiday is celebrating what WHITE people did.. Not black people.. Lemme say it again. This holiday isn't celebrating ANYTHING black people did.. It celebrates what WHITE people did..
By white people, you mean white Republicans. Is it not extraordinary how every time it comes to peoples' individual freedoms over the course of hundreds of years, it's always the Republicans, including recent times during Covid, yet you continue to praise and fawn over the party that enslaved your ancesters and is now demanding they wear masks, close down your business, and ignore masked white people destroying black neighborhoods? But there you are, lapping up the vomit, wagging your tail like a good little slave boy to the masters of the plantation.
No.. That's not what I meant at all. WORDS are important.. I don't have any trouble reading or making myself clear. If you read my earlier post, you'd see that 14 WHITE Republicans voted against it.. Therefore, it can be assumed that every other WHITE Republican and EVERY Democrat, white or black, voted FOR it..
So, contrary to your statement, the CONGRESS did it, and they're MOSTLY white... It's math, really.
I'm gonna move on, now.. I grow tired of tediousness.
I feel the liberation of blacks in America is well worth celebrating by all right thinking people.
Human beings being enslaved is so abhorrent that it is mentally torturous to even think about.
I would comment however that the blacks have, generally speaking squandered their freedom and made their presence in the United States ( and indeed most other countries, other than those of their origin, where they reside) a liability to all other ethnic groups.
The 19th of June 1865 was a momentous and wonderful day for all Americans, so let us all reach out to each other in a spirit of forgiveness and genuine reconciliation.
After that it is up to all of us to get our sleeves rolled-up and start MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.
