Is late night 'comedy' like a liberal klan meeting?

First off, if you had a red necked right wing comedian who could COMMAND the audience, he'd BE ON TV.. Certainly, HALF the country would watch him.. But, you ain't got nobody..

I think you are failing to account for some of the mechanism behind sponsorship of these shows. The sponsors tend to respond to communicated complaints and outrage about content, not the whole range of views and attitudes that are not communicated to them.
Most of this communication to sponsors comes from leftists and the less moderate liberals. Leftists generally seek to subtract ideas with which they disagree, whereas conservatives and more moderate liberals tend to merely seek to add opposing ideas. Conservatives are less likely to protest, write letters, or call for the silencing and firing of people with whom we disagree. Instead we voice disagreement and criticism.
The attempt to silence voices with whom one disagrees is part of an overall trend toward the ideologically fascistic behavior led by the far left that has infected liberalism to make many liberals lamentably illiberal, and loudly so.
Liberals, not conservatives, scream at people until they leave restaurants. Liberals, not conservatives, engage in doxing and harassment of people who publicly voice ideas they oppose. Liberals, not conservatives, call for the firing of people who say things they dislike in the media. More liberals than conservatives, organize protests against ideas and verbal/symbolic expressions; most conservatives don't go out and protest, and those who do tend only to protest actions, not ideas. (This is partly because we are more committed to freedom of thought, but mostly because we have other things to do.
Because of these factors, the input to sponsors tends to be skewed toward liberal viewpoints. As a result, so does the sponsorship, and therefore the programming.

Yes, there are all sorts of considerations going on.. Yet, left wing or right the ONLY consideration that COUNTS is profit..
Right wing radio PROVES there's a market for right wing late night TV.. So, I suggest that IF there was an entertainer who could COMMAND that audience, he'd HAVE the job.. The list bront provided was a bunch of B listers and has beens.. They couldn't fill a large club.

Because talk show ratings suck, so they produce shows that get better ratings, rather than sacrifice profit to spread propaganda and feed the ideology.

Yes, libs don't like hiring conservatives for anything. They prefer feeling multicultural and hiring someone that beats their wife, thinks Jews are insects, and thinks gays should all be murdered in a mass slaughter.
