I believe it is because I believe the only person you should have sex with is your husband/wife. Therefor sex with anyone els (including yourself) is wrong. That's just me. I'm not forcing anything on anyone. And I don't care if you do it. I will go ahead and answer the question: "who does it hurt?" I believe it to be a sin so it hurts you. But how dare I share my religious beliefs. Moral debates like this are kind of pointless because it's pure opinion. And almost always results in rebellious Christian bashing. Side: yes

Then are you willing to substitute 'sex education' for 'masturbation education'? I can see it now- kids ejaculating all over the place creating bio-hazards. Though I must concede, masturbation is definitely more tolerable than the evil of teaching kids how they can have sex. Side: yes

No... we should not be afraid of our own bodies... nor we should we teach our children to be afraid. By the way... abstinence from masturbation only builds on the stimulation to have sex... which actually has potential to produce some unwanted results... as opposed to masturbation. Masturbation is a safe bet. Side: No
my only authority is psychology. all psychologist agree that masturbation is a way to stimulate yourself without a partner,and they consider it a perfectly normal act. adolescents discover their body's and sexual capacity with masturbation therefore reducing the threat of saving and suppressing your ego which will explode some day in ways that are socially and legally unacceptable like rape,or frigid sex...keeping your body sexually active allows you to have a normal stat between the ego and the super-ego.psychologist consider masturbation to be a problem or a complex disorder act if the person has the opportunity to have sex and chooses masturbation instead,that is the only way to consider masturbation wrong. Now i have a book here titled Ladies Handbook of Home Treatment. [entered under the Australian Commonwealth act 1912] Teaches a woman the "facts of life and how to be a good housewife and mother" It refers to masturbation being an act of self abuse , or a secret vice CHAPTER XVII DESEASES OF THE URINARY AND GENITAL ORGANS . There is a list that states to be a Prevention of Secret Vice list of guidance for the mother to adopt should the problem arise with her child. Do not allow your child to associate with children of questionable character. 7.Never allow your child to sleep awy from home unless under the immediate care of a trustworthy adult. 11.Never tell the child an untruth concerning himself or anything that pertains to human life and growth. 13.Fill the life of the growing child with many interests.Keep thbyouthful mind occupied with wholesome and aspiring books.Encourage interesting and useful hobbies , also active sport which is likely to sufficient weariness to demand deep and refreshing slumber rather than the sense gratification attending masturbation. 14.
