Without money I wouldn't be able to go to university, afford food, or accomodation. So yes it is important to me.

Without money, you could still have food, be accommodated and still be educated. You can't blame the money for going without those things. Just the system that is modern society.

I can completely relate to the importance of financial support, especially when it comes to pursuing higher education. Without the necessary funds, access to university, accommodation, and even basic necessities like food becomes challenging. It's crucial to explore innovative financial solutions that empower individuals, and I appreciate your recommendation of https://icoholder.com/en/defi. Decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms have the potential to revolutionize the way we handle our finances, providing more accessible and inclusive opportunities for everyone. Exploring such options could indeed contribute to overcoming financial barriers and ensuring a brighter future for education and beyond. Thanks for sharing this valuable resource!

Side: NO!!

Anyone who thinks money isn't important is welcome to give all their money to me.

Side: Yeah!!

You beat me to the punch line so I'll have to settle and give you an up-vote ;)

Will you accept some shells as payment? or maybe a few clippings of squirrel leather I gathered last night? Or maybe a nice necklace made of clam shells? :) All technically forms of money. Or how about The electronic method of money. Nothing but bits and bytes in a computer?

As easy as "I hereby give HoldTheMayo" the sum of $100000000000 credits."

A few shells or clippings of squirrel leather aren't worth very much, so it's not surprising that you're willing to give them away. I don't think you'd be so willing to give me a significant sum of money though. Bits and bytes would count, if done officially.

What's with all the chickenshit down votes?

I do agree with all of the things that the people on the NO!! side are saying. They have good points. However, the question is "is money really that important?". It shouldn't be that important, but unfortunately in todays world it is important.

Side: Yeah!!

I don't believe that was the point of the question. The question clearly asks "Is money really that important?" not "Is money important?". In today's society yes I agree with you it is important. But, in the grand scheme of things it isn't really that important. Infact society would benefit greatly by it's demise. However, revolutions of such magnitude need (guesstimating) 80-90% or more people on board before it has a chance of being diminished. Trade system would probably be put in it's place. Where value of objects is more subjective then not. and because im clarifying I will remove my point.

i thin we can't live without money . but money doesn't every thing we have to fight for it . i'm really persuaded that money bring the happiness . because even you are sick , with out money you cant buy the medication . if it is not important so why our parents are working !!

Side: Yeah!!

In our world today, it is. Personally, I would always take family, love, and generosity and the kindness of people. But that is just not how things work anymore. Money is the key to success, to making a decent living, to being able to give your kids the future they deserve. I wish it wasn't like this, that almost everything didn't resolve around money, but it does.

Side: Yeah!!

If we got rid of money, do you think the system would be any different?

If we deleted everything that can be called money, coins, dollars, banks whatever people would use other stuff to buy with.

money isn't something unnatural. If no one had money, people will trade stuff with each other. I get a steak from you, you get a bottle of wine from me, everyone is happy.

I can't imagine a world without money, because it will be no different other than instead giving the lady at the counter some cash, some tomatoes from your garden.

Side: Yeah!!

Actually, if you realise it, without money, you can't do anything except breathe air

I think that if everyone was nice enough and caring then we wouldn't need money. People would go to work to help. People would grow food and make things, just because they care. But sadly, people aren't like that. I think if everyone tried, we could make this happen. I'm not saying we have to be perfect, Just be nice and caring and don't be mean. We can make this happen. All we have to do is try.

Money, isn't really all that important. There are many reasons to support this. I mean, everyone can do everything we do today without money but people insist on living greedy, selfish, untrusting, war provoking, destructive lives. Without money we would most likely all live in harmony and peace with one another because if we could take one lesson with us from money. It would be that we all need to work together just to survive. Less profit for one and more for the whole would be the result.

The native tribes lived without money and were very likely to give members of their tribe gifts of things they did not have. Didn't have a place to live? One would be built for you.

If a harvest proved to provide little for the tribe. Everyone starved because it would be divided up evenly.

Hell, I bet even the religious people would agree with me here when I say "even jesus christ was for this method. When he fed thousands with a few loaves of bread and some fish."

Without money, we would all live in desperate poverty. Money is only a means of trade.

Money is like vegan products...it's a substitute that just can't add up to the real thing. You can't buy love, or happiness. Money is unnecessary, yet we lose sight of what it really is -- paper, and only blind ourselves because we know in this world, and in this "system" we have, it is very difficult to live without money, but not impossible -- hell, we did it at the beginning of time, didn't we?

Exactly, money is a scam. Always has been. It props up certain individuals and damns the rest. There is no love in the world when the world is overtaken by the love for money.

Money/Dollars, are one of the most evil allowing fucktarmaterial that I've ever encountered. It's paper that is created with random numbers and symbols and said to have value to it, via the people using the money. Money is extremely materialistic and is so extreme, money has "blood" on it; that is, people do extreme things to get more money. Money gives certain people, in general, a reason to be greedy, selfish, violent, rage-full, and crazy. I am not a fan of money, the essence of it. Of course, if I had 20 million dollars, I would probably still believe that money is the root of all evil, whilst still paying off my college debt, buying a house, giving money to my family.....

No. it's not. The best things in life come for free : family, friends, laughs..

However the question is really not specific . Important for what?

Side: NO!!

LIke the previous post, there are many other free things that are WAY more important than money. Money ,yes, can buy you material things, but it cannot buy friends or happiness or--you know what I mean.
