Pro-choice is a Constitutional right. Constitutional rights should be used, not abused. Protect the Constitution at all costs, while doing what is necessary for a "more perfect union".

They aren't mentioned by name, but fall under the concept of Liberty.

e.g.

from the 14th Amendment Section 1: "... No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law;..."

from the 9th Amendment: "The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people."

No. Pro-choice just means that people don't think the government should make the decision for all women and all circumstances.

Many people who would not get an abortion themselves still believe it is wrong for the government to legislate it.

The mother-to-be has the choice of continuing with the pregnancy and giving birth or having an abortion within the parameters of the law.
