Is renewable energy and/or nuclear power the only hope for survival?

It is only a matter of time before carbon based fuels become depleted.
When this happens it is vital that our scientists will have developed the technology necessary to provide a power hungry world with an alternative energy source.
Or, as many would argue, God will turn on his abundant reserves of oil and gas when the current supplies have been exhausted.

So, it's a question of Scientists vs God

Do we sit on our backsides and wait for the existing stocks of carbon based fuels to become totally exhausted and then ask God to fix the problem?

Or do we start now to make provision for the future by the scientific development of nuclear fusion, battery technology and cost effective renewable energy sources?

When fossil fuel derived energy is absolutely finished THE LORD GOD will, with one wave of his mighty hand replenish the earth's oil and gas fields while at the same time eliminating the damage caused to our atmosphere by Co2 emissions.

Trust in our Lord in heaven and mankind will prosper and flourish.

No need for Godless Scientists with all their superstitious mumbo jumbo.

Certainly there is a solution to every problem. It just takes time. However, yes, the ultimate source is God and through Jesus, renewable energy will never run out. I will also say we are in the latter days so when Jesus returns, He returns. Then there will be no more need for food, water, energy sources etc. God created science as well so He will use people as His tools to further improve civilization if it's His will. Only time will tell.

Well, that's put my mind at rest.

As God will provide there is no need to worry about climate change, starvation or threats of nuclear war.

Phew, a while there I thought the human race was in trouble.
