Sarcasm has been used for centuries from Plato to the newspapers, magazines, speakers, etc. and now it is dead on-line. Why? I believe it is do to the fast passed world we live in, were fusses are short and the literal is taught. Imagination, creativity, individuality all are not encouraged, but discouraged. Society is being shaped to be the text book example. Schools, society, work places all been curving us slowly, orientation. Orientation: 2a) a usually general or lasting direction of thought, inclination, or interest (Merriam-Webster) Side: yes
