Yes, I think so. In order to have a rich and meaningful language, it seems to me it should have words and phrases for the most beautiful and good of things, the most despicable and vile of things, and all manner of things in-between. When and how these words are used is what matters, and, no doubt, there are plenty of people who could probably afford to think a bit more before speaking. Side: Yes, It needs to be said.
Exactly what I would have said. 50 characters. In some cases that is too much... For example, when what was said is what I would have said and instead of repeating I say the short sentence two lines up. The restriction should be removed. Trolls will always be trolls --> ....................................... Side: Yes, It needs to be said.

It does. Shouting takes some of the concentration and energy used to feel pain, diverts it to other actions, like shouting and swearing. If you don't put your mind into feeling or noticing pain then you either won't feel it or the pain is smaller than with full concentration. I've had some small cuts and stuff which I discovered hours later and only then I noticed they hurt a bit. Side: Yes, It needs to be said.

OK. I am aware that using the lords name in vain is a crime for several reasons but FUCK him and his fucking wanking buddies. It's just a bunch of wankers wasting their fucking time. I recommend sitting on your ass all day jerking off and smoking weed. Fuck you! Side: Yes, It needs to be said.

In my opinion I think swearing is bad because it is rude and its fithly language. It can insult someone and hurt there feelings. I don't swear at all because in the Bible it says in Ephesians 4:29 "Do not have any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths but what it is right to build others up and that it might benefit to those who listen." Epheisian 5:4 "Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving." Side: Hell No, swearing is bad!
These option we've got both answer the question of the debate, and yet brings up anther question. I wish we could still create our own tags... Anyway, to answer the ACTUAL question. No. Swearing is not necessary. Neither is the computer you're reading this with, or the tv in you living room, or even REALLY the toilet in your bathroom. But guess what, it makes life a little easier, better, or just more amusing. So we want them. I personally love swearing. I mean, they're just words. But if you use them correctly, it can make a point. Side: Hell No, swearing is bad!

Well, I don't know if it's bad, exactly. It can be a good way to deal with anger, but it's definitely not necessary. I've never sworn in my life (seriously, I can't even spit them out, haha), and I have nothing against my friends who do, but it does makes me uncomfortable when it seems to be over something really, really minor (for example, I have a friends that swears whenever I mention a homework assignment we have to do). It's not like it's the end of the world, but it is certainly unpleasant. Side: Hell No, swearing is bad!
