Is talking to oneself a sign of insanity?
Hello there I am prodigee and for most of my life I have had an imaginary friend... Well not exactly imaginary... My friend is me.
I used to be embarassed of this truth.
Hiding away whispering and what-not but I am now a proud advocate of self-talk therapy because no one understands how to comfort someone as well as they themselves do :)
So to all you self-talkers otu there HIP HIP HOORAY!
Aww thank you Prodigee I love you <3
Haha, love you too bro.
Yes indeedy! I am sane!

While I don't have an 'imaginary friend', I will sometimes talk to my own reflection in the mirror as if I am preparing for an argument or debate. I personally don't find it weird talking to myself, but I don't do it to the point where I do it for entertainment. Side: Yes indeedy! I am sane!

No. It's just associated with it for some reason. Sometimes I talk to myself. Like if i'm playing tennis I'll be like "Lizzie why did you just do that?" or if i'm planning something I'll be like "Okay Lizzie today you need to blah blah blah". I don't think it means insanity.
