Taxation is societal dues. It is intended (whether or not it is in actuality is another story) to be put to use for the improvement of the society to which the tax-payer is a part. To fund wars (ought to be only for defense, but rulers tend to get ahead of themselves), to fund schools and ensure the propagation of civilization, to build roads and infrastructure. Theft, on the other hand, is only good for the thief. It does not work for the improvement of society, but to its detriment. No roads are funded through the acts of a thief, nor is education provided for, nor the courts managed, nor is a fire department funded. Theft is a selfish act on the part of the thief; taxation is a selfish act on the part of society, but ostensibly for the good of all that are a part of it. Side: taxation justified

" But, when the thief puts gas in his getaway car, buys a new gun, gets a new mask, moves to a new state and stays in hotels, those merchants benefit just as much as they would from anyone else. Plus the taxes paid on said service goes to pay for infrastructure, education and everything else. So, there is a benefit. The question that remains is: have you robbed your local bank today? The day you cease to use a single taxpayer funded service you can take up your argument it's theft. But the moment you drive on a road, tap public water, use energy supplied through power lines mounted on eminent domain land, send your kid to a public school, etc, you're using services as a member of a nation and being taxed is therefore valid and not theft. Is it even possible to opt out of single taxpayer funded services though? Because I am implicitly forced to use govt. funded commodities like roads to get around places, my giving money to this entity is now justified? Is it okay for a group of thugs to demand I give them some of my money and use some of this money to buy a commodity which they then force me to use, while claiming that the continuation of my giving them money for use of their commodity, is now justified? Theft is taking something from it's rightful owner for the benefit of the theif. Taxation is (should be), a payment of dues to improve the well being of all involved. The "theft" of this tax money by those who use it largely for their own benefit, in one way or another IS "no better than theft". What? Are we saying the founding fathers set up a system of theft? Absolutely not! However ANY system can be manipulated. Sometimes tax money is manipulated for the benefit of the people who PAY the taxes. More often, since Reagan, it is manipulated for the benefit of the 1%! That's the reason the middle class has deteriorated, along with the countries infrastructure! VOTE! (So we can pay our taxes confidently, again.) Side: taxation justified
Theft is that act of taking something from someone without that someone's approval. If I do not approve of giving my money to some entity that calls itself government and they coerce me into giving it to them anyways, I am being stolen from, thus theft is occurring. Side: taxatin not justified
It is obviously justified since the passage of the 16th Amendment to the US Constitution made if so over 100 years ago! Taxes go to improve and build and maintain many things in our great nation that make it even more great. Education, our military that protects you from harm. Our country's infrastructure. Parks, roads, hiways and bridges. Welfare and medical care. The VA which cares for our brave veterans. Like moi! Our fine Universities and state colleges. Law enforcement. And many other things you take for granted. Many nations have higher taxes than do we. Look....,. Theft is taking something and not giving any type of recompemse to the victims. Wheras us taxpayers get many returns on our tax dollars. The real theft is the free riders in my country who suck everything up and give nothing back. Hope this helps. Thank you......... ok what has been the problem all through out history....large groups of people working together to enslave there nieghbores ....I mean the oldest play in the book is action answer ...they cause a conflict then gather power off the conflict by funding and supplying the war then collecting even more power and money by taxing the people not in the war to pay for the war they created ....now this system makes so much money you have to keep it alive and boom you have government the governments are always a slave to the banks and the people are always slave to the government ....im a grown moral man I don't need a group of people less intelligent than I telling me how or what to do especially when they are giving bad orders in direct conflict with my best interest ....and then they want paid for this shitty service and shitty leadership ..they have sold you to the bank people your tax does not run the government ...have you ever heard of the debt ceiling ...this is were the government pretends to balance money but all they are really doing is figuring how much money to borrow from the central bank known as the federal reserve ...this is NOT a government entity ...this is a private bank that the government has no power over and is not under any government authourity ...they also can not be taxed or audited....as a matter of fact this system works like so ...the federal reserve prints currency that the government uses for goods and services then demands all tax debt be paid in this currency ..next the opec people agree to trade with this currency to not have freedom bomb the piss out of them ....this creates world demand for this currency ...and if you live in America and pay your homage to the majisties of the land you also need dollars....this creates American need for this bullshit currency....you see people you are taxed this year for last years debt ...to the federal reserve ...not the government....so when you idiots rob a bank and the fdic pays out the loss your tax pays for the loss the system never loses a dime ...I cant believe you people think that fractional fiat banking is real and I cant believe you think tax is fare and I cant believe we still use governments ...they never ever work.....next ill tell you how 401k and the stock market is really just a tax on wealth....and if you are doing this you will lose ....it is a mathematical certainty ....stock markets are shell game casinos the dice are loaded and the tables tilted....just like the bank gets paid for robbery by taxes the stock market gets a tax bailout if they lose but not when you lose ...think of vegas just enough people win to make it seem possible but way more lose to make it profitable .....if your no card shark then you have no fucking business in banking or stocks ...the corperations ..are the largest middle man .....they generate the most velocity on this system the federal reserve needs them to give the illusion of money movement...imagine a shell game where the shells stayed in place...it would be an easy pick ....so middle men create the tunnels that money move thru so people loose sight of the scam ....now that the federal reserve creates and buys its own money back ..what do you people think is going to happen ....the dollar is now toxic ....no government or big business is buying the bond debt ....this means that unless we are forced to use it we wont use it ....that means the dollar will diminish very quickly....people are going to be very sorry for this system ....they always are but by now the bankers have learned that when the jig is up they better leave the government people on the hook for it while they make there get away ....you people will take to killing the elected officials in the streets like you always do ...mean while the real guys are sipping wine and eating fish eggs on crackers ...while rome burns ....let me ask you people this do any of you know ten people who work for the central bank ....how about five ....you will revolt on the puppets but not the puppet masters you idiots always do and this is why we have to keep repeating this over and over .....very soon the federal reserve will be a ghost town and the bottom will fall out and it will be you and the government to duke it out .....you will literally kill each other as you always do and they will laugh at you as they always do .....WAKE UP....
