God I hope so. Life is sooooo boring. We need a little excitement in our lives. A little drama. Something besides "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" ;)

Soon enough you'll be able to expand your mind with extra parts and to surf the internet with your mind. Nothing boring about that.

The "end" of the calendar actually marks a transition. Think of it as new years eve, 2000.

Probably not, but I'm planning a mushroom trip that day just in case.

Well since the Mayans didn't have leap years, the end should have been a few months ago.

No, the world is probably not going to end, and if it does, it is nothing to do with some "ancient prophecy" bullshit.

First, I don't believe in prophecies. The future can be changed, if people want so. But even if prophecies exist, the world won't end. The Mayan "prophecy" was studied again and it was noted that the "prophecy" had been misunderstood. The calendar that ends in 2012 don't say anything about end of the world. It just stops in 2012. As well as my 2011 calendar ends in December 31st and it doesn't mean that the world would end in that day. Besides, another Mayan calendar was found, and this one continues until the 9000s years. And even more: the Mayans didn't count with leap years. If we count leap years, the world would end in August 2011. It's a shame... The world is really needing of an end...

Side: No

It is now 2015 and the world did not come to an end in 2012.
