It's a jaded piece of paper that no longer serves relevance to the 21st century.

It is not to old, maybe the federal government should start obeying it.

The U.S. Constitution isn't too old, because it's a living document. It has changed before and it will change again at some point, but the basic principals are what made the United States one of the most successful countries of modern times.

That is true. The constitution is a living document that adapts itself to a constantly changing society. Also, the constitution is interpreted in different ways by the U.S Supreme Court justices and others society which relates to it being a living document. If we do give the government the power to change the constitution, then we are giving them the tools they need to take away our basic rights to which others will think of the constitution itself as a "laughing stock".

It seems that we have politicians and Americans who believe so. Case in point a few years back many wanted to reword the Constitution and Bill of Rights to "protect the sanctity of Marriage" as between a man and woman only and not between same-sex couples. What they fail to realize is that these 2 documents cannot be used to exclude a person/or people from the same rights as anyone else! These are manuscripts based on equality, freedom and inclusion. Not fear, parnoia and exclusion. These documents are the foundation of this country they are what our military fights to protect whether you agree with those freedoms or not!
