while i would agree in general that older people are wiser and for the reasons you stated Joel_Mathews. however you wouldn't expect a wise answer in the sense that you would consider it wise from a narrow minded person if you were more open minded than they are, and vice versa. if two people live their life looking through different coloured lenses, they won't agree on the flower they describe. Side: I completely don't agree!
Nah. It really depends actually. While the adult has more experience in the world, the kid is learning far more in school. Some people are just close-minded and their kids are open-minded. It depends on the person. But gosh, I hate it when people say kids are dumb and adults are great. I change my mind. I didn't take into consideration the difference between smart and wise. The older you are the wiser you may be, but sometimes the younger generation knows best. Side: I completely don't agree!

The definition of wisdom is "the quality of having experience, knowledge, and good judgement" according to the Oxford dictionary. An adolescent will not have as much experience as a senior, because they have not had as many years alive to accumulate knowledge and experiences. Age is time, and with time comes many lessons learned and understood. No one was born with the wisdom they have at this moment, and with each successive day, they will gain more wisdom. I am only 15 years old, and I know, that as I get older, I will gain more life skills, and so will everyone else. Side: I agree 100%!
