The whole reason behind the world ending on 12/21/12 is that the Mayan Calendar ended. 2 things disprove that the world is ending. The Mayan Calendar had a continuation of their calendar in a separate temple, and also, even if there wasn't a continuation, the Mayans didn't account for leap year.

Also, even if the world was ending, in which time zone will it end?

No since the Mayans were wrong about their first prediction about the year 2000. Thus making their claims quite unreliable. Plus their civilization has a different time scale than our Gregorian calendar thus their claims are inaccurate.
