The reason I dispute this is because what you state isn't entirely true. There are many people who visit the site and conduct real debates. The problem is that you don't need to be logged on for very long to get that done. There are also over a thousand communities (many private) that you don't see the activity unless you go look or are invited. Side: no not really

Such despondency sure isn't going to liven it up any. Why not do something creative to reactivate it's old vigour? What do you feel is missing? Should there be more topical issues presented for discussion and less of the usual, God v evolution, sexual orientation sniping, abortion and personal insults. What about the mass migration of Muslims from the Middle East to Christian Europe? Why do they continue to by-pass oil rich Islamic states such as Saudi Arabia and risk life and limb to get to the nations of infidels? The Russian military build up in Syria. The affect of Mexican immigrants on the quality of life for the average America. Will China's apparently unstoppable industrial growth make it the most powerful industrial and military power in the world in the near future? Side: yes of course

Shoutoutloud, it is unfortunate that there isn't as much fun here which I do agree with. the unfortunate part about that is there were a handful of people who complained about the frivolous nature of the activity back then and those member were run off. That left the extremists, which cause too much polarization. Now we are rebuilding and doing so in a better, less antagonistic fashion. Hopefully we will be better for it. Side: yes of course
addltd;- that's the spirit. One of the negatives of C. D., is that there seems to be a significant number of disillusioned, resentful old has-been's who use the Forum to criticize other people's posts without making any contribution themselves. When the number of these failures becomes too great a percentage of the overall membership then the creative people tend to back off. Side: no not really
