It Costs 5 Dollars To Produce A Vial Of Insulin Which Is Then Sold For 500!
Production costs for a vial of insulin are estimated to cost around $5 while pharmaceutical companies charge as high as $540 per vial and Americans are dying as a result of being unable to afford it in addition to the expensive costs of medical care, and supplies such as syringes and glucose monitors.
How anybody can defend capitalism in light of things like this staggers me. When sick people are literally being priced out of life. Does insulin really need to be sold at ten thousand percent its production value? That absolutely should be a crime, but instead it's called "business".

I don't agree that capitalists are to blame. That's because you're stupid. The state isn't forcing them to jack up prices on life saving medicines, it's the profit motive doing that.
