You do, so long as that worship doesn't take away anyone else's rights to live their own lives as they please. If it is your life, and you own it, then everyone else's life is also their own life, and they own theirs too.

So, if a person wants to be gay: it's their life.

If a person wants to have premarital sex: it's their life.

If a person wants to eat pork: it's their life.

If a person wants to weave two kinds of fabric together: it's their life.

Where our freedom to individual liberty ends, is where it subtracts from someone else's individual liberty. For example: indoctrinating your kids; forcing your gay son to go to conversion therapy; disallowing gay people their choice of partner, etc etc.

You have the right to be an atheist, as long as you don't force that on other people. You see, you don't have the right to force your opinions on other people. Now you know what you sound like.

That's exactly right. The problem with the, "It's my life and I'll live it as I see fit" argument is that nobody lives their life in a vacuum. As part of life you have to interact with other human beings.

It's my life, I have the right to worship Jesus

Let's look where this leads.

1) It's my life. I have the right to worship Jesus.

2) Jesus' word is written and recorded in the Bible. Therefore the Bible is holy and true.

3) The Bible tells me to kill gays, fortune tellers and burn the oxen of anybody found to worship another God.

4) Mayhem.

When you willingly permit your temporal lobe dictatorial powers over the rest of your brain in exchange for the feeling of comfort it gives you, then that in fact is a truly selfish and myopic act. Life is suffering. Suffering against the cold emptiness of nature is what life actually is, and it is that uncomfortable truth which cowards like you struggle against all of your lives. You cannot accept it because it horrifies you, and because of that selfish decision which you make out of sheer cowardice, you force everybody else around you to pay the price.

It is my right, and my choice to worship Jesus, and Jesus' payment for all sins, makes somethings unneccassary. Show me where Jesus said to kill anyone, let alone gays. In John 8, Jesus said: Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone. Question for liberals: Why do you seem to turn to gays whenever a christian says something? That is a borderline fallacy. How do you define Christianity? I define Christianity as a saving relationship with Jesus, who paid for all sins, gay, straight, or other, which is needed for salvation. I promise not to ban you from this debate, so let's talk. Please know that participating in this debate will result in you hearing the Gospel. It's truly your choice.
